Heritage is nothing short of fantastic. The were fantastic with the big stuff and the small. They arranged great accomodations and even had a birthday gift basket waiting for me in my room. I had the same guide for everything except one night drive and that made the trip much more fun. Brian really understood what I wanted and, just as importantly, what I didn’t want. He is incredibly knowlegeable, passionate about the environment, and great fun to be with. While filling me with information, Brian never went too far, neither overwhelming or boring. Both Brian and the company showed great flexibility and adjust plans on the fly to get me the best chance of finding the elusive cats I so wanted to see. Their vehicles were good and came with everything one would need, including great meals and snacks. Prices were reasonable and I got amazing value for my money. I can’t recommend them highly enough.
Our school group did a one day safari with Heritage Tours and Safaris to the Hluhluwe – Imfolozi National Park. Wow is the word that can truly sum up the experience. We managed to see all of the ‘Big 5′ (including a Leopard – which was amazing). The park is home to some of the most amazing animals on the planet. Our guide, Stacey, was absolutely fantastic and she shared her outstanding understanding and knowledge of the animals with us. She made the trip worth every Rand. Seeing these animals in their natural habitat was so much more exciting than seeing them in zoos or on the television. The students found it to be thoroughly educational, fun and one of their best experiences in South Africa. We would wholeheartedly recommend this safari and the Heritage Tours and Safaris company. We had a wonderful experience with Heritage Tours, and were very lucky we had Brian to ourselves for three days. We saw the the big 5, plus cheetah and cubs. Would recommend the tour company and parks we visited.
WOW we have just had the most amazing weekend organised by Heritage Tours and Safaris, the attention to detail from start to finish was incredible, expectations were blown away from the minute we arrived in St. Lucia right through to the minute we left. We stayed at Umlilo lodge, what a beautiful place and the owners were really lovely people.
We had a package with Heritage Tours and Safaris which included the crocodile centre, two safaris in different game reserves, a night drive and a boat cruise. Not one of these activities disappointed on anything!!!!! For anyone considering this kind of package the night drive is an absolute must, the adrenaline rush is awesome!!!!
The absolute star of the weekend was our guide Trevor Collins. Trevor I hope you read this, you are an amazing guy, words cannot describe how incredible this weekend was, from the crocodile centre to the safaris, to the boat cruise, it was all so well organised but so so relaxed and we had an absolute scream with you!!!! Your knowledge of literally everything in the area is amazing….all the different species, the history, the landscapes, the lookout points (etc. etc. I could go on forever), you are such an interesting guy and I really don’t think this weekend would have been the same without you.
Heritage Tours and Safaris are excellent, excellent, excellent, excellent, I will definitely come back to St. Lucia and do it all over again.
