This package includes 2 Full-Day Safaris into both the Hluhluwe and Imfolozi sides of the park in an Open Game Drive Safari Vehicle.
iSimangaliso Wetland Park is South Africa's very first-world heritage site (Unesco 1999). This impressive biodiverse park is magical, to say the least with pristine beaches and an abundance of wildlife.

9 Night Safari Package - Day by Day
Day 1
Arrive in St Lucia, KwaZulu Natal. Please note that we do offer an option for transfers to and from Durban International Airport.
Depending on your arrival time you could still possibly make it for the late afternoon 2 Hour Hippo Boat Cruise on the St Lucia Estuary. Home to an astonishing 800 Hippos, 1200 Nile Crocodiles, and an abundance of birdlife this is truly a treat.
Day 2
After breakfast, you will be heading off to Cape Vidal for a full day of Bush & Beach & Wildlife. This trip consists of wildlife viewing, pans, loops, and hides before arriving at Cape Vidal for some beach time.
Why not enjoy some snorkeling in a protected bay or just a leisurely swim while your ranger gets lunch ready. Snorkel equipment is provided. (weather and tide dependant)
Day 3
It's an early start as you head off to the Umfolozi section of the park today. Enjoy a full day in this world-acclaimed game reserve. The southern section is perfect for spotting Lions, Rhino, Wild Dogs, Leopard, Buffalo, and Cheetah to mention but a just few of the possible sightings.
Breakfast, Lunch, Gate Fees, and all refreshments are included.
Day 4
After breakfast today you will be heading off towards the town of Hluhluwe, where you will enjoy both the Cheetah Rehabilitation center as well as the Elephant Interaction.
This is a full-day excursion conducted in an air-conditioned minivan. Lunch is also included.
Day 5
Once again an early start to the day as you head of towards the northern side of the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park. The northern part has a different feel to that of the southern side and is incredible for spotting Elephants, Lions, Buffalos, and hopefully the elusive Leopard.
Breakfast, Lunch, Refreshments, and gate fees are all included.
Day 6
Today you will experience some traditional Zulu culture, Zulu War Dancing, and folk stories. Learn more about the Zulu Culture ways and traditions.
Late afternoon you set off on a 3 Hour Sunset Safari a perfect way to end the day in Africa.
Day 7
Head of towards Mkuze Game Reserve where 9 Lions were recently released. This smaller and quieter park is ideal for Birding as well.
All catering and gate fees are included.
Day 8
Early morning 3-hour Sunrise Safari into the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, and then, at last, some free time to explore the town before heading out once again on a late afternoon 2-hour Hippo Boat Cruise.
Day 9
Ready for one of the most incredible ways to see the wildlife? Well, today you are heading off to the Manyoni Private Game Reserve for a guided walking safari. Your experienced and knowledgeable ranger will undoubtedly make this one of the most memorable days.
Day 10
Sadly this is your last day, after breakfast if you have opted for the transfer we head back to Durban for your next adventure.

Brilliant Zululand Safari. We started with a sunset game drive seeing Rhino, Buffalo, Hippo, Zebra, and more plus an evening drink overlooking Lake St. Lucia. The next day was an early morning game drive to Hluhluwe, saw lots of game, elephants, baboons, warthogs, giraffes, and lots of Antelope, and caught a glimpse of a Cheetah family. Our guide Theo was really excellent and gave us loads of commentary and facts as well as stopping to view smaller animals such as Chameleons and Terrapins. 3rd day was back to iSimangaliso where we again saw loads of game including Elephant families. We did also snorkel at Cape Vidal but the weather was poor, unfortunately. Day 4 was the Cheetah rehab center and a real Zulu village where we were joined by Mpume who explained all about Zulu culture. Accommodation was at Heritage House which was also superb and Thea was so helpful when we had a family issue. I really recommend using Heritage Safaris.
I can highly recommend Heritage Tours and Safaris. I booked with them 5 years ago and this time again. They are very reliable and the service they provide during the day tours with picnic lunch or a braai is really fantastic. We had an absolutely fabulous time and saw the Big 5 within 24 hours.
