This half-day safari tour is conducted in an open game drive safari vehicle, without wasting any time your personal ranger will get you to all of the best areas while en-route to Cape Vidal for some incredible snorkeling. (Please Note Weather & Tide dependant)

iSimangaliso Wetland Park was proclaimed as a world heritage site in 1999. The area is enormous and stretches from St Lucia in the South to the border of Mozambique in the North. This Tour will be conducted in the Eastern Shores of the park. Tours depart daily and may also be conducted as either early morning or late afternoon tours.

This Half Day iSimangaliso Wetland Park Safari Tour departs daily from St Lucia. You will be picked up at your hotel at 8:00 am by one of our Game Rangers in a Open Game Drive Safari Vehicle. The Tour includes game viewing en route to Cape Vidal a protected bay where one has the opportunity of enjoying some magnificent snorkeling. The bay offers some exquisite fish species including game fish species.

En route one will enjoy numerous wildlife species and may even include species such as Leopard, Buffalo, Rhino, Kudu, Water Buck and much more, this diverse landscape includes the second highest vegetated sand dunes in the world, mangroves, forest and open grassland. Sit back relax and let your personal ranger explain and show you the true beauty that this very first world heritage site has to offer. From loop roads, hides to look out points. It's truly an incredible destination and magical scenery.

From the entrance to Cape Vidal Bay is approx 28 km once at Cape Vidal you will have an opportunity to enjoy some snorkeling or for those wanting to just enjoy the warm sun why not relax on the untouched beach.

We had the most amazing stay. Although it was brief it was jam packed and the ranger guides, Siyabonga and Kyle, were really friendly and extraordinarily knowledgeable.Kyle got us up close and personal with wild dogs, (painted wolves). The 2 vegans in our party were well catered for and we all came away recharged and enriched.The heritage house in beautiful st Lucia was friendly and clean with plenty of dining options a short walk away. Would love to have stayed longer.

Big thanks to Yamkela for his excellent half day game viewing tour of Hluhluwe. He has a great sense of the animals - where to find them and how to approach them to trigger their curiosity without arousing wariness. Yamkela is an engaging, personable fellow with excellent communications skills and impressive ability to provide meaningful commentary. Ours was an outstandingly fine game drive.

A relaxed and very informative river cruise led by Dennis. Great for staff functions as you can take your own refreshments.We saw lots of hippo and Dennis shared lots of interesting information.Highly recommend Heritage Tours

The game drives were excellent due to the encyclopedic knowledge of our guides. The accommodation was superlative with our hostess going above and beyond on every front.

We celebrated our anniversary by going on a full day safari tour and it was absolutely amazing. Our tour guide was Yam and he was the best tour guide. He brought along a cake that said happy anniversary on it and it just added to making our day special. He was also super informative and he knew exactly where to go to find the animals. We saw : Rhino, elephant, Buffalo, buck,warthog, zebra, giraffe,l and baboons. It truly is an amazing experience and I would recommend you ask for Yam as your tour guide to make your experience better.

We have a drive yesterday with Arno. It was the best most informed tour that I ever have. He went out of his way to seek a Cheata we found one in the distance. He impressed me with the animal sounds that he make, like a calling . Thanks Arno
