Itinerary – 9 Days Sample

 

Day 1 — Durban International Airport, arrive St Lucia,South Africa

Arrive at King Shaka International Airport, travel to St Lucia South Africa with you’re guide. Late afternoon join us on a Boat cruise up the St Lucia Estuary to witness Hippo wallowing, Nile Crocodiles, African Fish Eagle and a lot more. After dinner we are of on a Night Drive into the Isimangaliso Wetlands Park in search of Leopard, Rhino, Buffalo, Chameleons and lots lots more, hear the bush come alive..

2 Hour Hippo Boat Cruise/ 2,5 Hour Night Drive Safari

 

Day 2— Hluhluwe Umfolozi Game Reserve Big5

Board the 4*4 open game drive vehicle as we are of on a early Big5 safari to Hluhluwe Umfolozi Game Reserve, witness the wildlife in the oldest proclaimed game reserve in Africa. Keep an eye out for the Big5, African Wild Dog and Cheetah that hunt in the open plains. Traditional South African bush barbeque in the reserve while observing the wildlife at one of the many scenic picnic spots. With spectacular vantage points your personal and knowledgeable game ranger will get you the sightings that you love to see. African Vultures swirling in the skies, cries of Hyenas and Wild Dogs hunting this safari will remain with you for years to come.

9 Hour Big 5 Safari

Day 3- Cape Vidal Tour (Isimangaliso Wetlands Park) & Swaziland

A early departure as we set off into the Isimangaliso Wetlands Park, a World Heritage Site this park has a lot to offer, 5 distinct ecosytems, mangroves, forests, vegetated dunes, estuary and marine reserve. Witness the Humpbacks in winter as they migrate past the point of Cape Vidal. Depart for Swaziland.

Day 4- Depart for Kruger National Park

After a hearty breakfast we travel to Swazi Candles in the Malkerns Valley, then visit the Ngwenya glass factory where all the products are hand made from recycled glass we travel via Piggs Peak towards the border to reach Kruger National Park.

Day 5-6 Safari and Explore Kruger National Park

The next 2 Days are spent on Game Drives, Guided Walks and relaxing within the World Famous Kruger National Park. Skukuza will be the next stop on you’re safari expedition.

Day 7- Panoramic Route

We travel to the magnificent Three Rondavels view site at the Blyde River Canyon. We walk along the cliffs to appreciate the breathtaking views then onto Graskop to marvel at scenic areas such as the Pinnacle, God’s Window, Lisbon Falls, Bourke’s Luck Potholes (a walk down the hill to this unique trick of nature is worth the effort).

 

Day 8- Panoramic Route

We continue to Sabie where we walk through indigenous forest to visit Lone Creek Falls, onto to Pilgrim’s Rest a early gold mining town turned into a living museum. Rich deposits of alluvial gold were found here at the end of the 19th century, deep in the mountains.

Day 9- Panoramic Route to Johannesburgh

After a hearty breakfast we travel over Robbers Pass onto to Johannesburgh as this is the last day of our travels
