2 Parks in a Day: Outline

This has to be the most magical and incredible game reserve in KwaZulu Natal. Meandering rivers, hilly topography, and magnificent wildlife. You truly are in for a treat. Hear the Elephants trumpeting in the distance, watch the predators early morning and hear the bush come alive. All of the rangers have years of experience in the respective reserves and will undoubtedly make sure that you have a superb Big 5 Safari.

This Park single-handedly also saved the Rhinos from near extinction in the '60s when less than 100 Rhinos roamed the Earth. Processes and Techniques discovered in the '60s are still being used around the world today.

Booked a half-day safari and enjoyed thoroughly. The day began with a prompt 5.00 collection from our hotel. Our guide, Dumi, provided us with blankets against the early morning chill and the helpful service continued throughout the trip. He was knowledgeable and stopped whenever there was something interesting to see. His cheerful disposition also contributed to a very enjoyable experience.

What a lovely day! Dumi, our guide was knowledgable, kind and funny. He taught us a lot about the animals, the park and even some Zulu. The landscape is beautiful and to see rhino from just a few metres distance is fascinating. Breakfast and lunch was delicious.

My first time in South Africa (& St Lucia) but after the care and attention to detail from Dumi and his fellow guide it will hopefully not be my last. It was an early start but the most was made from the day, from Warthogs, Giraffes, Rhino Lions and an amazing variety of Antelope not to mention tortoise we saw it all in abundance! We had a gorgeous braai overlooking a valley with Vervet monkeys also. Dumi was an excellent guide with great knowledge and great patience with any questions! Thanks so much!
