Hluhluwe Umfolozi Game Reserve the oldest Proclaimed reserve in Africa 96000 hectares in size offers sightings of the BIG 5, African Wild Dog and Cheetah to mention but just a few. All safaris include history on the save the Rhino campaign initiated by Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife in the 60s other interesting information with regards to Zulu hunting in the Umfolozi Game Reserve and local knowledge from the game rangers make for an informative Safari.

Departing daily from either St Lucia at 5:00 am or meet at the Hluhluwe Umfolozi Gate at 6:00 am. Early morning and late afternoon safaris remain the key times to witness the predators while on safari. Each Open 4×4 Game Drive seats 10 passengers cumfortably.

The two primary gates that we operate from are the Nylazi Gate in the Umfolozi Game Reserve and the Memorial Gate in the Hluhluwe Game Reserve.
