The Hippo that attacked a residant in St Lucia last week has now been translocated by the game capture team (Ezemvello KZN Wildlife). It is reported that the Hippo will be sold and translocated, this has happened due to the Hippo being witnessed once again in the same area within St Lucia.
Earlier in the week the Hippo attacked a St Lucia Residant, he is reportedly in a stable condition.
Heritage Tours & Safaris has been fortunate to have been invited by the Game Capture Team previously to witness the capture and translocation of White Rhino’s in both Hluhluwe Umfolozi Game Reserve and Mkuze Game Reserve, to feel and experience such passion remains enbedded with all of us.
